PTAs
The RRISD Council of PTAs invite those
parents, teachers and staff of the new
schools to join us in the Organizational
Meetings of the PTAs for each of the
following new campuses to open for the
2010-2011 school year. Each of these
meetings will have different items of
business to conduct therefore, your
participation is requested for both
meetings. At the first meeting,
volunteer opportunities will be
presented for the Bylaws and Nominating
Committees granted there are at least 20
willing volunteers desiring to form a
PTA. These committees will have two
weeks to work and then bring back the
completed tasks to the second meeting.
At the second meeting, the Bylaws will
be adopted and members will have the
opportunity to "join" the PTA by paying
dues. Finally, the officers will be
elected with concluding remarks to be
made by the new PTA President.
Information regarding these meetings
