Dance Committee
We are still
very short on volunteers for the dance Friday, February
12. If you can help for any amount of time at all,
please contact
Dawn Watson.
The RMS PTA is
planning another year of awesome school dances for our
students to enjoy. They are very popular with the
kids and fun for parent volunteers too.
Again this
year, all students must have a Dance
Contract submitted to the PTA prior to attending their
first dance. The contracts are signed by both the student and
parent and must be on file with us prior to purchasing
your ticket (bracelet). As a reminder, all OVERDUE
LIBRARY BOOKS are to be turned in before purchasing a
ticket. Students must also be current with their
"Textbook Check". If you need a copy of the Dance Contract, you
can download it here.
Tickets go on
sale the week of the dance. Students may buy them during
their lunch period on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. ALL STUDENTS MUST SHOW
THEIR SCHOOL ID TO BUY A TICKET AND TO ENTER THE
DANCE.
The evening of the dance, doors
open at 6:30pm. Dismissal times are by grade: 6th grade
is 9:00pm, 7th grade and 8th
grade is 9:30pm. Students need to bring their school ID
and wear the bracelet to the dance. Parents, please be
prompt when picking up your student from the dance.
Volunteers are always needed to
help sell tickets, sell concessions and decorate.
The Watch
D.O.G.S. are in charge of chaperoning and traffic
control upon arrival/dismissal.
